CDISC stands for Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium which is an open, non-profit organization that provides support to develops global data standards for improving the quality and interoperability of clinical trial
CDISC standards are used for clinical study planning and collection of data, data tabulation, analysis of data, and data submissions to the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) and other regulatory agencies.
The Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) and Analysis Data Model (ADaM) are two standards.
SDTM is a standard for clinical research data; it is approved by the USFDA as a standard electronic submission format of clinical data.
CDISC leads the ADaM project, which supports efficient generation, replication, review, and submission of analysis results of clinical trial data.
